Offspring
There old stuff was incredible, I didn't think theyd be the same but Hammerhead and Your Gonna Go Far Kid really do sound like there old stuff. (90s stuff like Kids Aren't Alright, Self Esteem...)
Incubus' S.C.I.E.N.C.E. I thought was their best album ever.
They sounded so different back them.A lot of people don't like their newer stuff, but I thought they had some amazing tracks on their Light Grenades C.D. "Pendulous Threads" was one of the more creative tracks by a mainstream rock band that I've heard in a while.
I am one of those who don't like the newer stuff. I liked "Make Yourself" and I only liked select songs on "Morning View." But after that I just stopped listening to them. "Murder of Crows" was a disappointment. They just went all "emo" love song on everyone.Sort of like Staind. Actually, exactly like Staind. Dysfunction was awesome, Break the Cycle was incredible, but then all of a sudden it just went really south with all these odes to Aaron's daughter and songs about "believing in yourself" and crap. What are we, stuck in a Rocky movie in the 1980s?
That album was great.Dig, Anna Molly, Love Hurts, Oil & Water were money.
Haha kids. I like that album with "Keep Em Separated" (you kids must have been in kindergarten then), but they always have been and always will be a Bad Religion ripoff. When they got famous, then the inevitable happened and they sucked.
Nobody is biting on my crotchety old music snob act? Well I thought it was funny.
Ha, when I read that I immediately turned off the Miles Davis that was pleasantly wafting through the room and cranked D.O.A.'s "War on 45"...that's one band that hasn't changed a bit in 30 years.
