This game is much more frustrating than any of those Tigers games (except possibly the first).

We were swinging at so many bad pitches, had opportunities to score early in the game and came up with nothing. Now Carmona is pitching better and we're behind.

We gotta get some patient ABs. Carmona fades after 60 pitches, and becomes worthless after 90. He entered this inning with only 38.

another (costly) walk.. Bowie is done. You can't be too mad at his performance. He kept us in the game against a very good offense.

I just don't get this. If you know that a pitcher hasn't gone beyond a certain inning or a certain pitch count, you don't tempt fate in a close game.

You let him pitch a little longer in a six run game not a tie game because by the time he inevitably gets in trouble, it might be too late.
