Clippard needs to take Batista's role for a while, or at least Walker's. He can't hold a lead. Pitching when the team is trailing will help.

Slaten with a big chance vs a righty.

If he was in Batista's role, you dump him... but he's your setup man. You don't just send him out.

You demote him down the bullpen chain.

oh well, hope for a better performance from your starting pitcher and bullpen tomorrow. hopefully hernandez gives us a quality start and storen/capps get the job done to close 'em out. it would make for a 6-4 homestand.
