OK, maybe not completely deaf     but there's a HORRIBLE GARAGE BAND ACROSS THE STREET!!!  Feedback and gosh awful guitar/drums!  Andrew has given them a name now - the Atomic Wedgies!  He ran out there and screamed to shut off the racket.  The squealing feedback is killing my ears!  I'm sensitive to high frequencies like that now.

Thanks, it made me laugh, too.  Funny kid!  We just went to the mayor's ice cream shop to escape.  Came home and it's nice and quiet!

Get those foamy ear plugs.  They work great!  I even use them at concerts.  They cut out the noisiness and then can hear the lyrics better.  Also protects your ears.

Andrew should quickly patent the name or get a domain name like that.  Then if a band ever calls itself that, it will pay for Andrew's College education!   They would have to buy it from him!

If it keeps up, I'll have to do that.  I don't want to be a dowdy neighbor or anything.  But there is a such thing as too loud!  I also can't stand it when someone pulls up next to me at a light and have their "boom boom" music so loud that it bounces my van.  It's one thing to enjoy your music, but another thing when you force it on someone else.

If talking to them doesn't help, you could also check on zoning regulations for your area. There might be an ordinance that would come into play. In the meantime, I like the foam earplugs, too...

Good to know it's covered. However, Dan needn't chat with the noisemakers in person. If you let the people in the zoning office know there's an issue, I think they'd send someone out to look into it.
