I'm not sure that fixes anything. When players suck, we always scream fire the hitting or pitching coach. And crap gets no better until we get better players. Does anyone really believe Randy St. Claire wouldn't be doing a better job than McCarty, and our unhittable pitching would be even more unhittable, were he still here?

We actually have pretty good players. Yet we're on pace to have the most strikeouts for the second straight season. Even if its not the coach, its far easier to get rid of the coach then to get all new players
