The ESPN Rules are not clear about ties in the Championship round, but I believe we had a tie within the last 2 years, as MDS alluded to. I can always ask someone at ESPN I think it was resolved with a second tiebreaker, which might have been overall record in the regular season. I think first tiebreaker is Head to Head during the regular season. ESPN has it all built in, and will declare the winner after it's over.

The 2014 championship teams met twice this season. Each team won once:
Week 1 Tiger Beer Here beat BlindLeadBlind NathanNeckbeard 6-4-0.
Week 14 BlindLeadBlind NathanNeckbeard beat Tiger Beer Here 9-1-0.
 :pimp:
The away team won each match. I assume that if this ends in a tie, JCA-CrystalCity would win, as the division winner and the best winning percentage in the regular season.

Thanks to both of you, for taking over those teams, and keeping the league viable.

Funny, my memory was he beat us towards the end.

TF broke out an interesting strategy in the Championship game.  He trailed into the second week on WHIP, ERA, and wins and went heavy into streaming starters, hoping to pick up wins and maybe neutralize some of his WHIP/ERA with more innings.  The latter has not worked so far, but he baited BlindLeadingBlind into picking up starters, too (jeopardizing ERA and WHIP).  As for wins, he has 8 starters going v. BLB's 3, but BLB still leads by 2 wins.  If wins flip today, then it is 6-4, and two categories (runs and RBIs) are very close.  I had been focusing on making sure I had a full line up down the stretch for the offensive counting categories.  We'll see how it plays out.  Nice strategy, though.

Too little too late I'm afraid.   I also needed to catch you in R or RBI.   It's a semi-cheap strategy to be honest.

Quick check in has us tied in runs.  Wins a 10-9, but you have he SF/SD guys going head to head. Actually, with both Bassitt and Martinez leaving the games trailing, you may be maxed at 1 more win and I still have Collmenter.

Your path is a 5-4-1 by flipping runs and RBIs and tieing wins.

Thanks.  BLB kept the core Terpfan76 drafted up until the last week, including Heyward, Ellsbury, Chapman, Fister, and McCann, so I just was able to tweak the margins for the line up, come up with a few starters, and track who the next closer up was.

Tiger Fan put together a good strategy (see above), too, and it ended up coming down to 4 RBIs over 2 weeks. Kudos also to Safe European Home Hustlers, whose final period score I think would have topped BLB.
