God the Phils do completely own us

Mostly because of our 3-15 record against them last season.  They were the '08 Marlins reincarnated.

Good point, I'd forgotten about how the Marlins completely owned us that year. Dear god, can't we just own somebody? I say this is the year we punish the Mets.

Well we've got the Yankees licked so far :D

Otherwise the Braves are the closest thing we've got to having a team's number, at least in the division.  We've done pretty well against the Dbacks over the years, if you want to expand to NL teams.

If you don't like Nyjer Morgan, please take a shotgun and take it to your mouth and hit the trigger.

And what was his answer?

something along the lines of:

DT (in whiny voice): Hiiiiiiiiii Thanks Bob (even though it's Johnny Holiday) ... I'm hear with Tyler Walker, relief pitcher for Washington Nationals ... (fast forward a few minutes) ... you have a nickname that you don't go by, the gobbler, can you tell us why?

TW: I don't know who came up with it, I guess if it's on wikipedia people believe in anything.  It's supposedly because people think I take shots of Wild Turkey before games.  I don't.  If I were to take shots before games it'd be something else.

One thing you can say about Tyler Walker is he will not quit.  Look at his playing history;

April 3, 2003: Selected off waivers by the Detroit Tigers from the New York Mets.

October 15, 2003: Granted Free Agency.

November 25, 2003: Signed as a Free Agent with the San Francisco Giants.

April 28, 2006: Traded by the San Francisco Giants to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for Carlos Hines (minors).

November 9, 2006: Released by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

December 11, 2006: Signed as a Free Agent with the San Francisco Giants.

October 15, 2008: Granted Free Agency.

January 6, 2009: Signed as a Free Agent with the Seattle Mariners.

March 29, 2009: Released by the Seattle Mariners.

April 9, 2009: Signed as a Free Agent with the Philadelphia Phillies.

I don't know the origin of it but he referred to Johnny as 'Disco' at least 4 or 5 times.

In answering questions or referring to Johnny he would just call him 'Disco' for example.

Holiday: So you have the bat, the speed, the defense, and the baserunning. You have the whole package!
[Answering Immediately]Nyjer: So do you 'Disco' from what I've seen out there. (I guess referring to a disco)
