we can put together a package of Espinosa and a bunch of crappy prospects for Stanton.do it.
Espi/Lombo, Moore, one of the good prospects, and a lower level pitcher for Stanton and Nolasco's contract. They'd have a lot of middle infielders, but they could flip Escobar somewhere to make room.
OMG Bryce Harper @Bharper3407@Giancarlo818 you can always come play for the Nats! We will take you anytime! Get some red, white, and blue in your life!
I don't think we'd have to give that many good players, considering what they traded for YUNEL ESCOBAR.
freak me.fucccccckkkk meeeeeeee.LISTEN UP FRONT OFFICE. GO GET THE MAN
THIS!but without all the freaking.
Another issue is that after this deal, every team in the league will be calling Miami about Stanton. We'd be competing against everyone else to get him, which would also up the price.
I don't care so much about Stanton, but I'd like to know why we couldn't have gotten in on Johnson or Burehle.
There is no salary cap, but is there a salary floor? Can the Marlins have a roster full of minimum salary guys? Is that even allowed?
I'd be willing to give him the same exact stuff I would for JUpton. Use that as a starter.
