That's horrible! I don't believe it. Nook really screwed everyone this time.

What a miserable finish ... an absolute heartbreaker - game was in the bag, even with the blown save - unbelievable ...

Yeah ... game is at least tied if that bunt gets down - Zim would have been coming to the plate with the bases loaded - and I was smelling a walk off winner ... what a shame - Nook getting that big hit and everything ...

Nook should be pinch running right now!!

I dont think he should ever be running a base after that. He also did some horrible baserunning mistake like that before that costed a big out earlier this year.

I was posting in the Brandon Watson thread, thinking it was the Gameday thread late in the game.

Nook also pretty much sealed his fate tonight - he had at least saved it for a moment with that big hit - then sealed it with that terrible gaffe - I would be shocked if he wasn't sent down tonight ... I actually feel bad for the guy - horrible mistake - he's going to get lambasted in the papers and by the fans ... just misery ...

Ok ... back to enjoying beautiful Hawaii - let's shake off the miserable dust of this one and win the series tomorrow ... besides, this is clearly spidernat's fault for celebrating too soon (J/K!!) ...

You guys have a great night ...

That's pretty funny. So what do you all think, Nook did have a nice hit that he hustled into a double and I know what he was thinking there, he was thinking that if the catcher tried to double up Lopez at first and Lopez would beat it, he could beat the throw back to the plate and the game would be tied. Had that worked it would've been great heads up but it backfired. He never suspected that the catcher knew better than to try to throw out a speedy Lopez at first. The catcher looked shocked to see him so far off from third... so essentially he gave them the game there.

Good thought - but poor execution ... just two aggressive with 2 outs when you're trailing by one - at the minimum, you have to be sure you can get back to the bag if he throws there -

As far as Logan goes, and not just because of tonight but because of his cumulative play over time,  I say :hang: and also this one upside down
