There are enough of us in New York or the D.C. area directly or indirectly effected by the events of 9/11. I find it irksome when some moron soybean farmer from Rendville, Ohio tries express mock outrage and relays his meaningful experience with the television or radio or some Californian talking head discusses it as a pretext to demanding homeland security subsides. Clearly there was an impact on many countries as several foreign nationals were killed and the subsequent actions effected the entire nation if not the world but one more email from a coworker about the memory of how they were brushing their teeth in a Vegas hotel room while watching CNN and I am going to open a can of whoop ass.

Don't even get me started on people who use it as a excuse for their racism or jingoism.
