I don't say things like this much, but Guillen out managed Riggleman for what it's worth.

Brutal series.  The big hitters for the Nats have shut down completely except for Willingham.  Instead of looking forward to destroying KC, I'm afraid of them......except for Wednesday, of course.

Oh man what is wrong with Lannan? We could really use him getting back to form ASAP.

Riggleman said post-game that despite Willie Harris' struggles, he did not consider Michael Morse for the pinch hit opporunity in 9th (cont)

"That's Willie's job" and he wanted Harris' on-base skills in that spot. Would have considered Morse is one hit would have tied game up.

Riggs also said Lannan's next start against Baltimore is not in jeopardy. #Nats

He should be trying to "get back to form" in Syracuse, that way we don't have to watch.  We can just see it in the box scores, after the game.  On a good night, he'll give up 6-runs on 12 hits.  The rest of the International League would LOVE to see him in Syracuse!

I wouldn't have hit Morse there either.  I would have hit Gonzalez and if he would have been able to get on, then I would have hit Morse.

Worst at baseball: Nives, Lannan, Riggleman, or Harris?

Lannan, simply because he's the only one I can nearly guarantee you will be here next year unless he gets even worse than he is now. Harris and Nieves won't be, and at this rate Riggleman won't make September.
