What happened to Livo? He was awful before he came back to the Nats...was that his plan all along?

Livo had a balky knee for a couple of years and he pitched through it.

I remember reading articles about it in ST last year about how he was finally 100% healthy and his knee wasn't bothering him anymore.

Did we ever get to see Livo pitch to a team the day before Strasburg?  I'd like to see that.  I think it'd mess with heads.

I apologize as well, and to you especially.  Just getting grumpy in my "old" age I guess :-[
This is why the Nats fans are the best! Nice gesture by the both of you.

lol at mlb.com's tagline to the balk/no balk fiasco

"Balk is overturned 04/17/11 02:02
4/17/11: A balk is called on Kameron Loe, only to be overturned, which makes Nationals manager Jim Riggleman very unhappy"

He seemed like he was trying to get tossed. He was probably too polite even in his anger. "Well gosh darnit, no offense, but umm...  I just really disagree with that call if that's alright!"

Didn't Livo want to go on the DL at the end if '06? And got pissed at Frank and Bowden and promised to tell all after the season? Anyone else remember that incident?

I dunno.  After Acta, Riggs seems like Billy Martin out there.
