Closed out 2010 on a great note, and while it's just one game, has continued success as a reliever. As a lefty with the power stuff he's showing, he could move quickly. As in MLB next year quick. Burnett's our late inning lefty but Slaten's replacable. If Smoker deals like he did to close last year, he's going to reach AAA this season.
Im not making any bold predictions about him being in the bigs next season, just saying now that he's a full time reliever, he could move fast. My guess would be a call up at some point next season if things go well, but he's got as bright a future as anyone at Potomac IMO.
