Huh ? It might have an angstromth of 1oz of begium, but it's reall a Budweiser product. So it's available
I'm kidding...Buttwiper is an ImBev company now, so technically Belgian owned.
How well does Pilsner Urquell stack up? I like that stuff.
Is Spaten Optimator still sold in the US? I haven't seen it in ages.
Best of the bunch.
Other than the victory Dave mentioned
Victory is very good (as is the sometimes forgotten in plain sight Heineken), but Pilsner Urquell sets the standard.
I love czech beer and I've had pilsner urquell fresh and it's damn good, but with the clear bottles, by the time you get it, it isn't fresh
Have you found it on tap near where you live ?
I haven't really looked- I usually try to go either local or stronger when I go out- pilsner is more of a back yard or pool beer to me. I've had it on tap in the past (I was lucky enough to study abroad in Prague before the Czech republic joined the eu and Ryan air started delivering drunken Brits), and I love it- the clear bottles just make it never taste right to me.
They have a canned version
I actually wasn't blown away by Purple Haze.
They used to sell it in cans at my local Harris Teeter but they discontinued it a while back. Now the only time I see it is at the Scoreboard Walk at Nats Park.
