if there's 2 outs in the top of the 9th and no one on base I bet they walk RZ. :?

Reminds me of Mr. 3000

The young bronson arroyo looking guy says "Your not getting that hit off me"

and Bernie Macs like "PITCH TO ME DAMMIT!"

He's tiring. But with our bullpen we may be better off with a tired Martis.

I don't blame the Giants one bit for playing Zimmerman the way they are.  I blame Acta for sitting Dunn and making it an easy decision for the Giants to pitch around/walk Zimmerman the whole game.  And those of you having fun chest-thumping need to realize that it's possible to root for the team AND individual player accomplishments.

I agree with spider, they aren't going to IBB Zimm unless the situation warrants.

Well we have a save opportunity for the pen... lets see how they handle it.

My guess? Terrible.

I wonder if Ray Knight will answer 'yes' to the question if he's asked are we going to win again?

That was almost a disaster. Way to get out of it Martis. Now for the bullpen to blow it.  :?

And Chief, I understand you can pull for both. I'm hoping he gets it done but that doesn't or shouldn't override the team's goal to win ballgames. Someone actually posted that they would trade a Nats win for the streak to continue and I'm sure that only reflected what others felt and it was obvious by some of the reaction to the walk.

Great job by Martis, he has clearly outplayed Zimnn (he doesn't have as good stuff, but he's got great composure), he's a definite ROY candidate.

Question: Who would you bring in now? Beimel and then Wells? Who and then Who?
