PC, it must be the mound ... i've seen a bunch of pitchers look down at it after they deliver.

If they don't investigate what's wrong with him, the next time he pitches, it will be exactly the same thing OR WORSE.
He's struggling...as much as we love Clippard, he's doesn't walk on water. People really expect him to finish with a sub 0.50 ERA?

Ok, Zimm. Either win it or walk straight to the clubhouse if you hit into a DP.

Being non-hyperbolic...that was really a bad inning.  His control was beyond anything I've seen from him.

Do you even think it's possible that he's injured?

Yup. And if Livan gives up a run Patterson his ass to make room for Strasburg.  :whip:

In all seriousness, Tyler didn't have his best stuff today and did a great job getting out of that inning with what he did have.

LOL. Don't disgrace Clippard like that. You can't compare a freaking awesome guy to a fat guy and a guy who will die of cancer.

Olsen's got to be saying:  "PUT THE MOUND BACK THE WAY IT WAS WHEN I HAD A NO HITTER GOING!"

Not his night. The best guys have blowup nights. Also, he came in bases loaded against a pretty good hitter(rookie or not), kept the team afloat, and then worked his way through a scoreless 9th. I can't complain too much.

At the rate he is getting innings, sure it is possible, even Riggleman has indicated that injury is in the future for Clip if he pitches at the rate he has been.

Looked like he was just opening up to much though.

Amazing that Moylan hasn't given up an HR since the walkoff to Zimm at opening day of the new Nats park.

the guy who is going to die of cancer almost pitched a no-hitter until a bunch of bandwagon fans on here and terptown jinxed him 8)

and livan hernandez is going to win the cy young.
