Lo Duca was pretty animated despite his apparent broken finger - he was really giving them the business, so I'm sure it was the same in return.

I thought they kicked out the one guy, and his buddy came with him - they were in the first row above the dugout.

We were wondering what that was about! We were way high up, and when Lo Duca was injured just about the whole stadium started booing. We got up and looked, and the Astros catcher was pointing directly back behind the plate into the stands - the umps came over - but we couldn't see what was going on. Thanks for posting this, very interesting. It was a really odd incident.

Hope so. We'll find out tomorrow.  You don't ever want players on your team to get hurt but in this case it actually benefits us.

Nationals catcher Paul Lo Duca was injured while batting in the seventh inning and two fans were ejected for yelling at him. Acta said those fans were “obnoxious” and using “inappropriate language.”

I'd bet Lo Duca is going on the DL after reading this:

"I felt a really, really sharp pain," Lo Duca said of swinging at an 0-1 pitch from Houston's Roy Oswalt with one out and nobody on in a tie game. "It's probably the most pain I've ever felt. I'll get an MRI tomorrow."

Lo Duca was 3-for-14 since returning to the lineup.

"You feel it here and there," Lo Duca said of the pain since being activated. "It's been tolerable, sore the last couple of days. Tonight it didn't feel right. I thought to myself, 'Keep both hands on the bat,' and I couldn't do it."

Lo Duca left the game immediately and Wil Nieves finished his at-bat, inheriting an 0-2 count and striking out. Nieves replaced Lo Duca behind the plate.

Lo Duca said one of the fans challenged his manhood as he was coming off the field.

"I said come meet me after the game," Lo Duca said. "He turned redder than a ketchup bottle."

I noticed that when Lo Duca was going into the locker room, he looked like he was crying.  He seemed pretty upset and rubbed one of his eyes.
