His breaking stuff isn't bad at all though but sometimes they seem to hover around the strike zone a little too long. He needs to develop a consistently good change up.

i like bergmann but he has to realize that the reason he's been up and down the past two seasons is b/c he can't find the plate.  he has good stuff, but it's ineffective if he can't consistently throw strikes.

c'mon jason.[/quot

I mostly agree but I'm not so sure his stuff is all that good. He is at best a bottom of the roation pitcher.

he does have good stuff.  he is our version of daniel cabrera.  has good stuff, just has control issues.  he doesn't throw as hard as D-Cab, but he has more pitches.  he could definitely be a good #4/5  down the road.

He got away with that pitch but it hung around in the zone way too long.

very, very strong inning JB.  Man just had that one bad inning and he's looked pretty damn good the rest of the way.

I respectuflly disagree with that comparison. Cabrera has stud potential, whether he ever lives up to it is another story.

We lost our British Nationals fan when we had that early losing streak.  The UK is 5 hours ahead of us, so I'm guessing the Netherlands are even more.  He could have at least told us if we are going to tie the game later.

i never said anything about bergmann being on the level of cabrera potential/talent wise.  I'm talking about the control issues are similiar.  sorry if i worded it wrong.  I'm at work hungover.

Ken Griffey Jr and Carlos Beltran have to be the answer to the trivia question. What do you guys think?

I can't believe it took them that long to notice that about Zimmerman.

WaPo Radio just said Livan pitched 8 innings with 4 runs and 10 hits for Arizona last night.  And took the loss.
