That radar seems to indicate at least one more hour before we're even close.

There are 3 dates when this game could realistically be rescheduled (July 7, August 18 and September 8).

What about an afternoon game on June 5?

Does it appear to anyone else that holding out this long seems like total disregard towards the safety of the fans?  Half the area is under a tornado warning.

What would you have them do, though? The fans could leave if they wanted to.

If you leave though, what happens when they do eventually start playing?  You can't come back, can you?

Hadn't thought of that but you're right.

Makes sense to me but for some reason they try to avoid that sort of thing.

That's nothing new. Every time Wily Mo is in the line-up there is always a possibly tornado warning from the big whiffs he takes with his bat.

According to the radar, the rain should be gone in about 10-15 minutes.

If so, the crew will take 30 minutes to get the field ready. Therefore this game could begin in 1 hour.

My point is that if people are that worried about the weather, they don't have to stay at the ballpark. The league always tries to get the games in. That's always been the way.

Would the draft tomorrow inhibit them from playing an afternoon game?  I know the players have nothing to do with it but maybe the coaching staff?
