That would be so cool!  Cooler would be inviting Mikey up to sing with them.

Switching loyalty from the Red Sox to the Nats ?   Front runner.

Quote
“That’s fantastic!” says A-ha guitarist-keyboardist Magne Furuholmen in an e-mail sent from his home in Oslo. “This song has done the rounds, but I never heard of it engaging the audience in this way.” Furuholmen adds that he’s ready to switch his allegiance from the Red Sox to the Nats

As a fifth-generation Norwegian-American (the English comes from my mother's side) this is fantastic.

Way cooler than Sweet Caroline or Don't Stop Believing.

For sing along songs? Yeah. But I wish the Nats had a theme song they sing every game. Cause you know once Morse leaves there won't be anymore A-HA.

'Don't Stop Believing' is OK (I rather like Journey) but anyone who sings 'Sweet Caroline' ought to be hauled out of the ballpark (it's bad enough being deemed a part of the Orioles market without the Red Sox also trying to claim a piece of us).

Skip to 2:55. MY favorite rendition of Take On Me, probably because I was completely belting it at that time.

"Don't Stop Believing" is a Giants (and SF in general) thing, no need to borrow from someone else.

I get chills hearing that, LO.  Might just be 40,000 people hitting the high note.

It cracked me up the first time I heard everyone in the crowd finish the song - even more so when I watch it on TV and can hear it in the background.

This song and Werth's Led Zeppelin are two great come out songs.

Dave Matthew's Band - Warehouse (live) is awesome for Werth. That gets the crowd going as well. I'm still mad that he got rid of Black Keys - "Howling For You" when he came back from injury. A lot of people joined in on that song too (the chorus).

I think much of Nats Park was expecting Take On Me when Morse came to bat in the bottom of the first....

I was. I think that they should have done it, the crowd would have gone NUTS.
