Redding = Player of the day so far - good pitching, good fielding, good hitting and now good running ... Good JOB!

Maybe it was payback for the bad call at first base.

K, question during the break...

When Nick Johnson comes back...what will happen to Young?

Assuming he's not traded, he will play left field.  Young-Church-Kearns.

that would be the slowest outfield every assembled.

But it would be a much better hitting outfield than what we have now.

He looks like the real deal - but the "bat flip" yesterday - irritated me to no end - a rookie should never, ever do that - certainly not in someone else's park ... so it delighted me to no end that he did nothing else after the 1st inning home run and made the last out in the 9th - He otherwise seems like a decent guy - so I'm sure Yost talked him about the "flip" ...
