The security at Andrews AFB is sending around heat warnings.  While this seems a little excessive, I hope all who attend the game tonight bring extra water

Oh, my, you young folks!

- The District was built on a swamp
- Diplomats used to get "hazardous duty pay" when assigned to an embassy in Washington
- The Nats played only day games until the '30s, when Clark Griffith realized he could draw more fans if he started his games after people left work. (Imagine sitting in the bleachers during a day game in late July)

If the Tampa Bay Devil Rays need their air-conditioning, if they can't play in the heat, let them go home. Losers all!

The fact that we are happy about something like this is pathetic. It should be automatic.

I guess.  But you can't see why they wouldn't rush to give a starting outfield spot on a contending team to a rookie first baseman?

Hellickson to the DL. Chris Archer to make his MLB debut on Wednesday. Very good prospect they received in the Garza trade but he does have a 4.81 ERA in AAA this season (90 Ks in 76.2 IP).

I bet the Nats bend over for him. :?

It feels like I haven't seen a Nats game in weeks and right now I'm like an addict who can't wait to get his fix. I'm officially a loser.   :-[

Move over SF and hammonds.

True. But weren't you and PANatsFan attending a cross dressing convention in Las Vegas or something?

With it being a weekday game series, I have to wonder if I could get Diamond Club seats cheap ...

They rushed to give a starting outfield slot to a rookie 19 year old converted catcher- seems to be working ok

Tyler Moore is not Bryce Harper.  And they didn't even rush to give Harper a spot.

Tell 'em about malaria out of the swamps during the Civil War.    Do you  remember the canal on what is now Constitution AVE?   :)
