Lyles is completely at ease because he knows they can't hit him.

I mentioned a while ago that there was a drunk idiot in my section at the Sunday Yankees game.

We texted the stadium number and they took him away in two minutes.

Why do we make bad pitchers look good all the time?

Yeah I have heard the players are superstitious too!

Big time.  They'll totally rub out the batter's box chalk lines, but step widely over the 1st base and 3rd base lines, lest the awaken some slumbering jinx fairy.

Based on my observation, giving their package a heft and spitting copiously must be considered good luck.

Damn good question...

I have a gut feeling the bats come alive next inning.

They find out the Braves lose and that's the inning they give us?

Seriously, our team is weird as freak.  We can score runs on Bumgarner, Hamels, Lee, and Cain yet we can't against piss poor pitchers.

I mean, I guess that bodes well for us in the postseason since we play up to our competition.

If you do just enough to beat a historically bad team, it absolutely won't be enough to be a good team or even a regularly non-historically bad team.

There should be OUTRAGE at this performance, regardless of the final score.

Glad to see Det getting past those hits and runs and really pitching well. Not insane like his last game, but still good.

Detwiler needs glasses or contacts, he's nearsighted.  I saw him squinting a moment ago to try to see something distant.

Seriously.  I mean, why bother to play these games?  Can't we just reject them?
