Mike Rizzo: "The Nationals are very, very pleased to announce the first pick on the 2010 Draft is outfielder Bryce Harper from the College of Southern Nevada. We've scouted Bryce very, very thoroughly throughout the last couple of years, these two guys on the sides of me here were instrumental in putting the board together and we're very proud and pleased that this particular player is going to become a part of the Washington Nationals' family."

Wally Joyner was on MLB Network last night and I was looking around for some info about him and discovered that he's a Mormon. I also discovered that Bryce Harper is a Mormon (thank you, Wikipedia).

Bryce Harper isn't listed among Famous Mormons in various famous Mormons websites/wikis.

Is Wikipedia wrong? Or is Scott Boras keeping Bryce's Mormonism on the downlow?

Everyone seems optimistic that we'll sign him before August, but I think we've heard that before. Still, Rizzo and Boras are pretty close now.
