Let me guess, you want Clippard in, right?

Really, teams don't need 25 man rosters.  Just play the best 9, every game.

Duh, tom.  Didn't you know that?

Where was Flores set up for the homer pitch?  Was it badly called or badly thrown?  I didn't see it.

  Bad pitch by Bally.

Mattheus would have been a slightly better choice. But the reality is that our bullpen is an absolute joke outside of Clip and Storen. Rizzo's fault.

In retrospect, I appreciate that Balester went after the hitters aggressively with nobody on base.  He just didn't pitch Soriano the way you're supposed to.

And Flores should've known not to call fastballs to Soriano anyway.

I didn't notice where Flores was set...was busy remembering that Soriano nearly got murdewred by old man Steinbrennewr because he could not stop swinging at fastballs down the middle and about as high as his hat-bill. Always the upper-cut whiff on the high fastball.

Bally hasn't thrown in nearly a week.  It was time.  Past time, actually.

Again, the problem is what the offense did against Rodrigo Lopez.  Everything else stems from that.

Desmond clearly earned his bump to the seven spot.

Agreed. We should have close to double digit runs. Offense is at fault

Actually, they didn't do anything against him.  That was the problem.

And a terrible pitch call to Soriano.

But you won't mention that, you'll blame it on Balester.  :lmao:

You're such a dope.

We can't afford to let a LH hit here against LHP. This roster is poorly constructed. No RH bench bats

I have a feeling this isn't going to end well. Marshall is pretty good.
