I have a question for you guys, does anyone think it was amusing that they played the MASH theme song at turner field while Escobar was on the ground writhing in pain?

You're man is on Sportsfan. Saul Rivera.

I think he has been good last weeks. Let's see if he can continue.

Didn't majority of us agree "potential" really counts for nothing or did we lie?

Maybe Frank is just superstitious about using Chad against the Braves now?

Why is he pitching now though?? It doesn't matter if he gets the 3 outs.  Chief is the closer and has rarely seen work as it is (remember he pitched the 7th inning in the last game).  Saul has been used way too much.  Maybe Chad is hurt.  But if he isn't, this move is unbelievably ridiculous.

Million Dollar Man
I know who Steve Austin is...who is Virgil?   :?:

Virgil was a pro wrestler himself but in the beginning he served as Ted's whipping boy servant who would help Ted cheat and clobber people with the Million Dollar Belt.  Hardly ever said a word.  Later he broke away and became a decent wrestler in his own right.

The uber-PC culture today would frown upon this gimmick of rich white guy with black thug servant but it was effective in yesteryear and it worked to everyone's advantage, even Virgil's.

Here is a pic of them with the Giant (Jon Rauch):

You really can't win 'em all, even with a three run lead going into the bottom of the 9th.

Kinda reminds you of Chad, doesn't he?  Likes to serve up home runs to the Braves...keeps things interesting...

someone said earlier this week that rivera was ok in non pressure situations but was unreliable and basically feces when the game is on the line...

Can we start bashing Saul Rivera again?  Please?
