Gameday Thread: Nationals vs Braves, Game 2 (L)
« Topic Start: September 10, 2005, 09:41:42 AM »
Game Time: 1:20 PM

Livan Hernandez, RHP (15-6, 3.80)
Hernandez will face the Braves for the third time this year. He doesn't have a decision against Atlanta, but he has a respectable 2.35 ERA. In his last start, Hernandez allowed two runs in eight-plus innings and helped the Nationals down the Marlins, 5-2. Hernandez gave up six hits, struck out four and walked two.

Jorge Sosa, RHP (10-3, 2.74)
Sosa strained his hamstring and had to exit Saturday's start against the Reds after just five innings. His abbreviated effort was still good enough for him to win for the second time in his past three starts. The only loss during that span came on Aug. 30, when he allowed the Nationals three runs and nine hits in five innings. The Braves are 11-4 in his 15 starts this year.

Starting Lineups:
TBA

WOHOO, Should be an enjoyable game!! Get to see it on FOX, and I have finally rid myself of any playoff implications, meaning if they win great if they lose thats just fine by me

I think, I won't get to see the game.

I fuggin hate the Braves.

I'm watching on TV through my one good eye.

my right eye is swollen to the size of a beach ball, and barely open.

I hate seasonal allergies.

I guess I should consider holding Andruw to a single a raging success.  Livan always does his best work with men on base, after all :)

every lefty is hitting the ball to right, which is a good sign, even though the hits are not dropping.

that means that there are right on the ball. just need to hit it on a line.
