Berkman is slow.
Rice doesn't graduate slow people. He's smart.

Guzman and Dunn owe Bard dinner after the game for picking up their dumb asses with that clutch hit.

Dunn drove in Zimmerman in the 1st you dumbass.

1. he almost cost us the game last half inning though. had the pitcher on the ropes and he popped out.

oh well, he is a net even for the night now. good thing Bard came through.

nice catch John

and popped out in the 3rd with runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs.

he is a net 'even' for the game. +1 for the RBI and -1 for the pop out.

No. That's not how life works, you geek. He drove a run in. That's good. He didn't advance runners later? Maybe that's a -.25. Otherwise, 75% of all baseball players would finish every game with a -2.

This is a big inning for John.

His pitch count is 55 in 3 innings.  He needs a quick inning.

When he messed his knee up a few years ago, he was playing church league flag football. He's actually a member of the community, and one hell of a guy.

Well, as far as the Gameday Thread Challenge went, I only had one request: the late, great Farrah Fawcett...

Fawcett died of cancer.  But Selena was murdered by her fan club president, just as she began recording hit songs in English, instead of Spanish (where she was already a star.)  We'll never know how big she might have been in American popular music.

It's not looking quick starting 3-0 with the leadoff batter.

you could have given him a -2. without Bard that failed AB could have really hurt us. if we didn't score in that inning the game might as well have been over.

John Lannan is having a pretty poor night.
