You know, this series was a lot like the Astros series: two rather inexplicable losses, followed by a big win from John Lannan to right the ship.

I'm disappointed that we didn't win the series but we went 4-3 this week. We need to go 5-2 or better on the upcoming homestand.

I recently had my 18th, so missed every game since thursday, i take it we went 1-2 against the o's, but what happened thursday night?

Lannan with another big performance, Zimmerman looks like he is really coming round now.

BTW, is anyone else thinking that Rauch is developing into one of the better closers in the league? 10 saves and he seems to have been great every time we ask him to come through for us. Recently it seems like him getting us through the ninth has been automatic!

Yep. He was debating the Nationals/orioles thing with my other brother the other night while we were drinking rum (big mistake) It took me 30 minutes to restrain my Nats fan brother from kicking my orioles fan brother. I was sore as hell the next day

I thought you were a little older than that EmpireNat. Yeah Rauch is looking OK saving games. I'd like to see him get more looks there though.
