holy freak, that was pathetic. That's what he gets for taking first-pitch fastballs right down the pipe.

I can't believe you said that sportsfan. On second thought, I can believe you said that.

Laughable. We should've traded Bergmann while he had trade value.   :bball: :bball: :bball:

The Giants are in his head.  His ERA would be about 3.30 if it wasn't for the Giants.

In that case it was a good time to swing at a first pitch 84 mph meatball fastball with runners on the corners with 1 out and the pitcher on deck. Felipe then pulled a Church swinging at 2 pitches in the dirt.

jesus, 2 deep fly outs in a row. He keeps leaving pitches in very hittable areas.

Dude you can't nag about people not taking pitches or players swinging at the first pitch and then complain about the opposite. Think about it.

Nice play by Kearns.  The Giants have zero power.  Weird that they own Bergey like this.

And the Giants proceed to leave them in the bleachers.

That's as much on Belliard as it is on Lopez.

There are certain times where swinging at the first pitch can be beneficial and certain times where it is completely ignorant.

Man, Lopez is crappy.

I can't believe our two starting first basemen right now are both right handed and listed at 5'10 and 5'9.

Actually now that Guzman is inked up we really have no use for Lopez beyond the trade deadline. I hope we can ship him off.

I can't believe our two starting first basemen are Ronnie Belliard and Paul Lo DUca.
