Listening to the Reds announcers on my way home tonight, they said this is a sellout, the first regular sesaon weeknight sellout (a presume not counting opening day) since 2006, a game in which all tickets were half price, and hot dogs were $1.

They also sold standing room only tickets tonight, and put Pete "I never gambled, okay I really did" Rose behind home plate.

6th   N Morgan singled to center, R Bernadina and I Desmond scored.

Nationals  7
Redlegs    1

Stras has been solid, very good, if not spectacular.

It's good to have an ace.

Do you shut down Strasburg here? Use that inning another game.

I'd give him one more.  then set him down and let him get his W.

Willingham really has been great in left this year.  Clearly maximizing his talent.

Don't say that around Pete "Okay I lied" Rose.  He'll leave the game and head to a casino.

Somebody gave me Ray Fosse's autograph.  Screw you, Rose.

Since Riggleman refuses to use Gonzalez or Morse, our best hope for a turnaround is that the players who've been sucking turn it around and get hot for while, and then our pitching reinforcements show up.

You better believe we booed Bob Gibson in Pittsburgh.
