Call 'em up - no pressure in DC
they just said there are going to be 5 call-ups (4 pitchers, 1 hitter).

I'd guess Desmond, Detwiler, Estrada, Everts, and then either Wilkie or Segovia.

The reason I say Everts and possibly Segovia is that I think we risk losing them if we don't put them on the 40-man roster. Wilkie and Novoa are safe I believe even if we don't put them on the 40.

Everts is a curve ball pitcher. The announcer the other night says Segovia brings 95 mph heat.

Eff off, Dunn and Dukes.  What awful defense on that play.

Clayton Richard has already gone longer than he did in his last start where he gave up 9 hits and 6 runs in 2.1 IP. :?

Sweet, got off work early so I get to see most of this game live.  Down by 1 already kinda sucks given the offensive performance as of late.

What does that matter? It was on the road.

He's a beast at home. They're at home.

that's a good excuse :lmao:

He's not a good pitcher any way you slice it. Dibble is reeming the offense. It's one thing to get pwned by the Cardinals' starters and another to get dominated by guys like Tim Stauffer and Clayton Richard.

2-0, 2.08 ERA at Petco.
1-1, 9.75 ERA on the road

Of course since you don't understand how to use stats correctly I'm guessing you won't get the correlation.

Are you kidding me he is a pretty good pitcher, a couple of bad starts don't mean anything.

Is the game blacked out for anyone else right now?  Kind of stupid.  It was supposed to cut over to MASN HD but because the O's game ran over I have to wait until O's Xtra is done before they'll turn the Nats game on.

the 2-0 at Petco you are referring to is over 17.1 innings. what about sample size? :lmao: :lmao:

2008: 6.04 ERA
2009: 4.79 ERA

Why would you put children in a place where homeruns might come screaming in?  They're begging for a lawsuit!

For someone that claims to follow baseball I thought you would have known Richard was the White Sox's #3 prospect going into this year according to Baseball America.

Yeah, he's got no future.

Maybe I need to check again.  Usually when the O's game is on MASN HD they put the Nats game on channel 1 and vice versa.  Last night they had the Nats game on channel 1 until like 10:30 then swapped it over.
