Does it really matter how many runs Martin gives up?  One was enough.

that hurt but this is the offense we have seen all season. they will have a good game or two and then go cold for weeks at a time.

this isn't a good offense by any means. we need massive changes.

That's laughable. How many pitchers develop at the age of 30?

It's your generalizations that make you look so bad. And I didn't say they develop at age 30. I said ages 28-32.

But to prove you wrong.

Career years -

Cliff Lee (30)
Johan Santana (29)
Nolan Ryan (34)
Randy Johnson (38)
Roger Clemens (34)
C.C. Sabathia (28)
Chris Carpenter (34)
Derek Lowe (29)
Roy Halladay (28)
Jamie Moyer (41)
Andy Pettitte (33)
A.J. Burnett (28)
Aaron Cook (29)

You're right though... everyone knows if a pitcher is worth anything by 25.

did I say career years? I said develop.

Big difference. You knew all of those pitchers you listed were good well before they were 30.

I don't even know why Dunn is playing these games. He is so bad right now he should take himself out of the lineup for the good of the team. Let Morse play 1st for a few days.

Really? Is that why Jamie Moyer had 34 wins in six years before his age 30 season?

Because I'm damn sure no one thought anything of him before 30.

Wrong again.

Don't take Martin out of this game, Riggleman!  Regardless of what happens, make him finish 6 innings!

It doesn't matter if he gives up a run or two or ten.  There's no way we're scoring three runs to win this game so, from that perspective, this game is already over.

Let him finish six innings!

You know whether they are worth a darn or not by the time they are 25 or so. Sometimes earlier.

Richard is average. #5 pitcher on a good team.
So if Strasburg doesn't develop by 25 you would give up on him? That's stupid. Erik Bedard had his best two years when he was 26 and 27 both 13+ win season and 3 something era's.

what makes you believe that Clayton Richard is going to be more than average?

We will know by the time SS is 25 whether he is going to be a stud or not.

Maybe his 1.000+ OPS in August has something to do with it.

You would lose every game as a manager. You'd sit the star players because you don't know baseball.

I have fios in Herndon.

You should call them and complain (if you can actually get connected to a human being, and not an endless array of prerecorded messages) or complain to MASN.  FIOS in Montgomery County, MD uses Channel 1 for MASN-2, so you should ALWAYS be able to get MASN-2.  That's a reason to call MASN, so that they can call the jerks in Herndon and tell them to air what they are PAYING to air.

According to scouting reports he has 2 plus pitches and another average one, good command of the strike zone and he is pretty young. He has potential to be pretty good.
