Ignoring quotes and threads in SMF 1.x is a nag. I might be able to slap together a greasemonkey script for firefox but server side its a mess till the SMF 2.0 release.

When I joined the forum yesterday, hammondsnats was pre-ignored for me - is this a feature, or a bug?

Unless you're joking I'm guessing it was just a glitch or you (or someone) had registered with the same name before and ignored him, but their account was since deleted.

hammonds is not currently being ignored by anyone.

I'm actually not joking, so I guess it must have been a glitch.

I had to figure out how to un-ignore him, although I wasn't sure if I should, if it was intended to be a feature.
