If they could not conclude their half of the inning and the game were cancelled the score would revert to the last complete inning played. Therefore the game would end 3-2 in Florida's favor.

And that's why you play for the tie when Fick was batting. Now we're constantly under the threat of the game being called and losing.

Excellent point PC. I've noticed that you get peeved when the Nats fail to execute, or even attempt, to play small ball. In this case you're more than correct.

I thought he was done 5 years ago when he played and sucked for the Expos. Now he's back, and hes way over the hill.
