Leadoff baserunner and 1-2-3 do nothing.

Lohse settling in

Is it me or is zim farther away from the plate then normal?

I noticed that too his first night back.

He's standing on the outside side line of the batter's box.

Don't know how in the world he is going to reach a pitch on the other side of the plate.

Lohse got that pitch called for a strike.

Lead-off walk in front of Holliday and Berkman, not good

Zimm always too deep in the box - and you're right, deeper now.

He could have gotten the runner out at second easily

You build an errorless streak by being a wuss? 2nd base was doable.

Seems like Desmond should have gone to third.

Didn't like ID's play there. I understand you wanna get the out, but it seems like he could have gotten Berkman. Come on John, get this last out!

Holliday was walking to second base, he was basically giving up the out

No he shouldn't have, even Pujols. Wussed out

Cards pecking away meanwhile the Nats' bats have gone into hibernation.

Lannan looks like crap for 3 games and gets out of all of them with only one run.  Then he finally looks good and gives up 2 runs in 4 innings.

Baseball is a funny game.
