There's still a tendency to overrate teams who have had great teams in the past.

Michigan is back!
Miami is back!
Of course there is. There would be less of one if they'd not put out a poll until mid October. That said, Michigan, actually, is "back", maybe not national title levels, but they're a top 15 team.
