I'm appalled that you're allowed to stay here with that mouth.

We're all not little kids.  We can vent, and I don't understand what's so offending about a "f*ck" or a "sh*t" here and there.

Not a bloop there but a blast here would accomplish the same thing.

Just notice you were from Vermont. How did you become a NAts fan in Vermont. Isn't Philadelphia closer?

Zimmerman strikes out on a hanging slider.. Well that inning lasted all of 3 minutes..  Where are all of those people who said we were going to come back?  SMFH, even when this team gets a huge lead they lose the game.

And Kid-NoClutch strikes again. Oh well, he's not alone in this lineup. Unfortunately, Church is.

In Vermont, Boston and New York are the two teams that 99% of people follow.  I was a Red Sox fan, although I really didn't care about baseball.  I actually got into baseball by playing the MVP Baseball series.  When I was hooked on baseball in the summer of '05, I started to try to become a real Red Sox fan, but I just couldn't get hooked on them.  As pathetic as this seems, I was looking on teams' websites, looking for what team I would become a fan of.  I picked the Nats because they were a new team, they were the Expos (which were close to Vermont).  I felt that the Nats would be a good team to be a new fan of because the team was new itself.  As soon as I decided, I bought MLB.TV, and watched my first game on June 5th, 2005, which was a win against the Marlins.  Since then, I've gone to five or six games in person (since there are no teams close to Vermont that play the Nats) and I found this forum on July 8th, 2006.

That's my story.

Here and there?  Try every one of "sports"fan's posts, pal.

Sportsfan is a huge fan of the Nats, like we all are.  Some people choose to remain optimistic throughout all the games, whereas some people have little patience for bad play.  There is nothing wrong with being pissed off at the Nationals, especially with the season they have had so far.  Also, my name is 2k6nats, or 2k6, or whatever, but not "pal".  Thanks.

This team is really testing my patience. This loss will likely setup a sweep for the Cubs and we'll fall to 9-22. I think soon people will be bringing up talks of the 62 Mets again. We are horrible, i mean 4 run 1st and we can't even scrounge up a couple runs through 8 innings? I don't get it.

They now have the same record they started with last year. So it would be nice to see them get something going. This is really parallel to then with the offense looking like Soriano was the only spark while the rest of the lineup wasn't showing much, a slow starting Zimmerman, and a horrid Schneider. It is so weird because it seemed like if you could simply get what we're getting from Church, the offense would have been ok, but the pitching was so suspect. Now we're getting decent pitching, and the offense just isn't clicking except for Church.
