Walk for Milledge. Don't know what Boone will do here ... there are 2 outs.

I agree with ACTAvation - a war of attrition favors us. They've burned their bench, but we've burned a good bit of our bullpen. I still like our odds.
They've also used one of their best relievers.  I just hope they don't have Sean Marshall come in and own us.

Wtf, Boone?  First pitching swinging and he grounds out.
He took the Lenny Harris approach just so he could rub it in his face when he became the 3rd out.

I don't see Kearns, Harris and Nieves winning this in the 9th, but am open to pleasant surprises. My fantasy team requests that the bases get loaded and Guz triples. Pretty please?

Why not leave Saul in? So dumb.

Nice catch by NJ for out #1.  Rauch looked decent enough there.

Not really, at least I don't think so. Two outs, next at-bat just starting?

I don't get it.  It's like Manny doesn't believe that his relievers can get warmed up quickly enough to replace a pitcher struggling in the middle of an inning.  First he leaves Ayala in there for too long, and now he doesn't give Saul a shot at the 9th.

Rauch pitched a great inning.  We have the advantage in extras.

Whew, I thought Aramis had knocked that one out.  Scary ending, but good inning there for Rauch - very economical.  Let's just end this in the 9th.

And since Jon pitched yesterday he'll probably only go one tonight. So if this goes into extras, we got Colome and Hanrahan :|

At the risk of sounding very OCD, I'm going to ask if I'm the only one who's bothered by how O'Connor's name is spelled "O'Conner" in the news headlines at the top of the forum.

I don't see any of the pitches thrown. It's lagging so bad.
