Not bad, he had a rough few innings and had to leave after 5 innings because he was throwing way too many pitches.  I want to see some improvement from him in that department, but he is a big game pitcher and could have a great season if he does (improve).

Hope quickly disappearing...

It is a period of civil war.
Rebel spaceships, striking
from a hidden base, have won
their first victory against
the evil Galactic Empire.

During the battle, Rebel
spies managed to steal secret
plans to the Empire's
ultimate weapon, the DEATH
STAR, an armored space
station with enough power
to destroy an entire planet.

Pursued by the Empire's
sinister agents, Princess
Leia races home aboard her
starship, custodian of the
stolen plans that can save her
people and restore
freedom to the galaxy....

I was wondering the same thing about the K's. We seem to be striking out at a ridiculously high rate.

Oh that's who that is?  I see people around here badmouthing the guy all the time but I get most of my Nats news from you guys so I don't really know anything about bloggers.  No wonder everybody talks smack about the guy
Ugh, you should read his blog.

He often goes "OUR WASHINGTON NATIONALS" like he's the Washington Nationals' version of Jim Hunter on crack cocaine.

There once was a fellow named Dunn
Whom Jimbo said was the one
He batted 14 times
But, opposed to the climes,
Struck out thrice and the rest were quite fun!

This may be, but it also seems like they are taking a lot more pitches than last year.  And I'm not talking just about the addition of Dunn and Johnson to the lineup, but guys like Flores and Willie Harris are seeing a lot more pitches as well.
