Another fantastic episode of Modern Family last night. What a great show.

Watched the pilot, free iTunes download.

I'm not sure a show with no sympathetic characters can survive. It's an interesting experiment.

can't wait until S4E2 of friday night lights this wednesday. probably my favorite show on television.  no other show has ever brought me in like that show. even the office, which i love and can watch to no end, isn't the same.

Dexter was solid again the other night, I'm told Mad Men was amazing as well.

I'm gonna try and catch V tonight.

Agreed. It has some potential. Hopefully this "re-imagining" is as successful as Battlestar Galactica.

I didn't like it at all. Just not my type of show. The acting was pretty bad, too.

"Vs" or visitors make their way to earth. There are giant space ships over all of the major cities in the world. The Vs say they just need basic things like water and other earthly minerals that they can't get at their home and in exchange they will hook us up with technology and other stuff. Most of the world is in amazement and people are bowing down in support of the Vs.

However there are some that think that the Vs have ulterior motives and want to destroy Earth.

Fine cast. Juliette from Lost plays an FBI agent who has discovered some awful things about the Vs. There is a reporter who looks like Michael J. Fox that is allowed to do exclusive interviews with the hot leader of the Vs named Anna.

It looks like an epic show.

Is Scott Wolf a stud in the show?  Again, I hope he kills some aliens.

The "V" slayed in ratings last night.

http://www.tvovermind.com/v-tv-news/v-premiere-rating/12643

Quote
ABC's 'V' stole the ratings spotlight yesterday with a win that few could have predicted. Attracting a healthy ~13.9 Million live viewers, V also claimed victory in the fight for largest percentage of viewers between 18 – 49 – the age range that excites potential advertisers. ABC Decided to air V a little early, just in time for November sweeps – a move that will obviously please the bean-counters at the network when it comes time to book advertising for V's March return.

 There will only be 3 more episodes in November and then it will pick up again in March.

I don't understand why they do things like that.  Though I guess with everything being online now, it doesn't really matter all that much.

Is the first episode up yet somewhere?  I did want to catch it but I simply don't pay any attention to TV schedules anymore.

They don't want to put it up against the olympics.

Good ep tonight? Haven't watched it yet. The "road trip" episode is the best of the season so far, IMO. So many classic scenes.

Yea, I really see no point in Quinn acting like a douche to Dexter but I do like were its heading.

This has been a great season.
