The folks at Thirsty Dog Brewing Company in Akron came up with a beer in honor of the occasion. "Mayan Last Dog" is a chocolate stout made with Maya spices including chocolate nibs and honey. John Najeway, owner of Thirsty Dog Brewing Company, said they made a limited amount of the beer that went on sale last week.The end-of-the-world beer is sold as a four-pack of bottles in some stores or on draft at the brewery's tasting room on Grant Street in Akron, OH. Najeway said he has a great response to the beer.
