Peace and Love
« Topic Start: October 13, 2012, 01:29:25 AM »
Yeah, I'm heartbroken and I can't believe the season is over.

I was having so much damn fun. Wasn't supposed to end this way. It's not right

Love this Forum and my fellow Nats fans - But sports has officially kicked my ass.

I need a break. I'll be back later on ...

Peace out for a while

This was the most fun season ever, from being in the Bleachers at Wrigley opening weekend to being there yesterday to see Jayson Werth hit the walkoff.

The ending was so awful.

I'll only be on here for the friends. Being in Cardinals country right now is awful.

I'm moving to South Carolina next month.  Maybe I'll see some of you at Spring Training.  Made some great memories this season.

Man, it feels like yesterday we were the laughing stock of the majors and this board was just awesome. We laughed (instead of crying) and had hope for the future. You tried to brush off the losing streaks and enjoyed a single win for days.

Everything changed so fast.

And tonight was like a nuclear blast went off in DC sports.

I'm sure i'm not going to be a popular person right now but i just wanted to say you guys have a hell of a good team. I really think this is the start of something big for the Nats. But i leave the board for a little bit to let things cool down. I'm sure the last thing you guys want to see right now is a Cards fan.

Still shellshocked but after a while I will reflect and remember this as a special year for DC baseball, I'm sure. I still need to process what happened for now though. Heartbreak doesn't begin to describe it.

Give it time, reflect, and you will realize it was a great year. Ended bitterly but such is life.

Are all Cardinals fans this condescending or is it just every one I've met.

You don't live in their backyard. They look at us like a little league team and we proved them correct.

When you're good, you're condescending. When you blow historic leads in the playoffs, you take it sitting down.

Good or not, they don't have the right to act like jerks.

And no one is taking the loss sitting down. But I'm not one to lash out and kick a bucket of balls. It's just not my style.

We should use this as motivation for next year. We'll be back.

I probably should stay off the board for awhile cause i'm still heated. At least I'll always have game 4, one of the best days of my life.

It was a fun season.

We have the youngest team in the league.

We're going to fill in some holes.

Davey will coach them up.

The team will hopefully bust their butts next year.

NATITUDE goes to the World Series in 2013.....

I saved some cardinals fans from getting their asses kicked tonight. It was mostly a bunch of chicks, an older man and two young men. I felt bad for them because I could tell they were truly afraid. I have to admit that it was a little embarrassing to see Nats fans behaving that way. They had done nothing to us. They weren't in your face and were not talking crap to anyone. The only thing that pissed me off about them was that one of the guys was so grateful that he was literally trying to hug me and tell me how great RGIII is and how great the Nats future seems. At that point I told him freak that crap. I'm not in the mood to hear all that bullcrap. I don't give a crap what stadium I'm in and how outnumbered I may feel. There's no way I let people disrespect me that way.

I won't be able to sleep tonight. I just cracked open a bottle and I'm sure eventually I'll log off, turn out the lights and maybe cry.
