Do you guys think that Dukes could be a true #3 or #4 hitter by next year?
Yep.

The New Guys:

Emilio Bonifacio - 5 for 13, 2B, 3B, 2 SO, 1 SB/1 CS, and a RBI
Alberto Gonzalez - 4 for 10, 2 2B, 2 BB, 1 SO

Not a bad debut

Not bad at all.

Knight and Holliday are awesome.

I vote this series as the best of the season.

I like Holliday and Knight.  Knight may be a bit of a homer, but most of what he says is usually spot on.  He is also one of the few guys on MASN that actually criticizes players.

I can't wait until the Red's board fires up. This should be fun.

OMG Collin just made me ROFLMAO

He said maybe we can put a few wins together, and make a run for the playoffs. I needed that laugh.

Good interview, a lot more enjoyable because of the win.

the Mets board is imploding again, cause they got swept by the Astros, and have lost 9 out of their last 14 games.

I guess firing the Manager wasn't the instant cure everyone thought it was.

I don't like him as the pbp guy for the Nats, but I don't mind him on the post game show.

4 Games at Coors coming up. With Zimmerman and Dukes back, we can start to see some bombs.

Hopefully Guz, too. We need a full bench as much as we need our starting lineup back.

Their pitching is just as bad, though.

My ideal lineup we should have

EB -2b
Willie -lf
Zimmy -3b
Dukes -rf
Milledge -cf
Flores - c
Gonzo - ss
Casto -1b
Pitcher

Thatd be nice since i cant stand kearns at bat

This season they've been.
Holliday, Atkins, and Hawpe though are really great.

Too bad we have to face Cook (All Star), Francis (sucks this year), and Jimenez (has been lights out recently). We get a break on game 4 with De Los Santos though.

Kearns had a pretty solid series. He had 3 hits today and 3 yesterday.

Kearns is really starting to turn it around, also Guzman should be back soon. Maybe not as soon as Zimmerman and Dukes though.

Only reason why I took kearns out, i just dont see him fitting at the number 4 spot since his hits have been all ground balls. I mean alot of our hitters had hits like that but he hasnt been getting under balls and lifting them. All been hard hit ground balls or little line drives to players.

Yeah, Cook's tough. If we can split the series, I'd be satisfied. A sweep isn't impossible, though. Of course, we could get swept, too. It's an "anything could happen" type of series.

I like the Redding vs. Cook matchup, but maybe that is just me.
Lannan vs. Francis should be good
Odalis vs. De la Rosa
Bergmann vs. Jimenez

I see at least 2 wins out of that.

Looking ahead to the Milwaukee series

Collin Balester vs. CC Sabathia. NOW that is an intriguing matchup.
