I lurked for about a month before posting, but Idiocy and shortsightedness of that magnitude is often glaring.

I don't know.  I kind of like sportsfan.  For one, I've never seen him really attack other posters even though everyone piles on him.  I'm pretty sure he does sometimes, just that for the amount of crap he takes, he doesn't really dish out.

And I like how he just doesn't give a shiet.  Just doesn't really care enough to even acknowledge you talking about him.

But you have to steal at a very high rate for it to be a smart move.

I agree from the perspective of the offense, but from a defensive point of view, I don't think you can have a situation where anyone who reaches is almost certainly able to get in scoring position.

So your shields can't repel stupidity of that magnitude?

I was in the Marine Corps, 8 years of my life was spent shielding myself from bullcrap. Now I just shoot from the hip and call people out for being whinetastic little "the sky is falling" type flowers. I am also beginning to think I may be contacting the SSS for an application.

I was just making a lame Star Wars reference because, well, ya know, I'm a nerd.

Well yeah... Scoring runs is overrated.

The Nationals are 15th in runs scored in all of baseball and 1st in winning percentage.  See? Proof.

Sure would be nice if Gio can at least get a sac fly out of this AB.

Nobody gets credit for driving in Bryce, right? So Gio is looking at maybe having every RBI tonight?

Fair enough, but it really gets old. Seriously, take some Xanax

Horrible at bat by Gio. Looked like Harper against Pettite there.
