Agreed. Always seem to hurt worst when you lose the series finale.
First one we've lost this year, right?

Livan had a good at bat.

Probably the most entertained I've been watching one AB in a couple of years.

Jimenez is a pretty good pitcher. He brings heat, and he throws an effective off-speed pitch. Atlanta couldn't get a hit off of him, but we got 5. I think he's the real deal.

it's the third week of the season ... he's batting .233 in 43 at bats with four extra base hits and 8 rbis.  His defense has been getting better too.  Way too early to pull the plug on his everyday MLB lifeline.

He's one of those pitchers you know you'd appreciate if he was on your team. We have one of those...

You think that's good? :spaz:

Two of those XBH's came in that first series or whatever.  He really hasn't produced lately.

Where did I say it was time?!  I said it is something that might have to happen down the line.  The fact that he is batting .233 is even more concerning, because as teams start catching on to his weakness it is likely only to get worse.  I like the tools the kid has, but not being able to hit breaking balls is a serious problem.

Well hey if he played everyday and batted in the 2-hole, I'm sure it'd be up 8)

I'm not saying I'm happy with his production thus far, but three days ago his average was above .300 ... it's so early still ... not ready to pull the plug.

So the question remains.  At what point DO you pull the plug?

How do you guys think we match up overall against the Rockies? I think we're pretty damn even. That's not a bad thing.

well if he's batting .133 and making errors left and right come mid-may ... maybe you re-evaluate or something.

Yeah, you're right.  Just saying, he's kind of down lately.  You actually have a point in your first sentence.  Riggleman jerks him around so much, it's gotta be hard for him to get in a groove.

8-8 is better than 2-14.

Ok ok and that is what I'm preparing myself for.  But I think it is also just as likely that he could turn it around and be hitting .260-.270 with a couple dingers.
