Belliard has really surprised me how well he has been hitting lately.  What injury did he go on the DL for?  I wonder if it was an injury that was hampering his play.

Calf strain or eating too much veal.

No-brainer to pitch around Lopez to face Pena. Might as well have a pitcher up.

Well a pitcher knows how to bunt, whereas WMP can't do crap.

Pena misses a very hittable first pitch fastball.

The only thing we will be able to use those brooms for now is chasing Pena out of DC

Have you seen our pitchers try to bunt?

Predictably woeful. Manny is an idiot for even starting him.

Walking FLop to get to WMP and laughing all the way to the bank.  WMP went down in flames. He's wasting a roster spot at this point.

Wily Mo Pena needs to be DFA'd immediately.  There is absolutely no silver lining with him.  He has not even given us a glimmer of hope.

And he almost blew that easy blooper to LF earlier.

Yahoo gameday is atrocious right now.

They displayed the Yankees as having a 26-0 lead at one point and then corrected it.

Now we know how all those Red Sox fans felt when he crapped the bed in his second year there.

I agree. Even his homer wasn't anything to scream about. After all of that talk before the season about how he was one of the most powerful dudes in the majors, I expected more this season.
