Why is Redding batting?

That's why.

The Juan Pierre Theory.  Bernadina has 26 steals.  Gets on, steals, now in scoring position, etc.

Well, it would be nice if he showed he could hit first.  :|

Odalis Perez should be a hitter for us, look at his average.

Well, its either leave Redding in for another inning or overextend our bullpen.  The more innings Redding pitches tonight, the less chance we will see Colome tonight or tomorrow.

Lo Duca strikes out, drops to .197.  WON'T LAST LONG AT THIS PRICE!!!
Manny actually sends a pitcher out who already threw 102 pitches!

The handful of people there should break into the room with the organ,
tie up the person playing it,
and start playing Latin music
M-A-C-A-R-I-N-A!

Just a nightmarish decision by Manny to bring Redding out for another inning. He was completely gassed after getting out of that tough jam last inning. No reason to bring him out for another inning especially when he typically struggles in the 6th as well.

Except for the fact that our whole bullpen pitched yesterday.

This is on Manny.  Why let him hit and bring him in for another inning?

stupid as crap. Any other time Manny would have pulled Redding after 5 with no second thought at all. Manny needs to stop trying to push the limits. It cost us with Ayala yesterday and with Redding today.

Looks like all those guys moving up (Rhinehart, Davis, Baez) didnt change their run production at all, in fact it went up somehow.

Nice. Too bad Manny blew the lead by sending Redding out for another inning though.
