Wow, there's the big break we have been waiting for... all season.

Edit: If only Simontacchi wasn't such an idiot for giving Fielder something to swing at on a 1-2 count.

We have to take full advantage and get that two out hit... Oh I forgot Guzman is up  :?

How did Lopez' weak swing drive that ball to the warning track?

Wow, was he really that bad? I thought he just made a good play on Casto's shot. Did he really misplay two in a row?

Sort of. The first one was a line drive that was a little tough to judge. The second one was a huge mistake.

Yeah, he never moved from that position after the ball was hit. He should have taken 5 steps back and it would have been a routine catch.

Hey you know what, beggars can't be choosers. We're back in it but running out of time. We need to plug up with our BP and then use the 8th inning and the meat of our order to score some runs.

We took advantage by advancing the runners with 1st and 2nd with no outs. Personally, I would have pinch hit Belliard for Guzman, but we are living in a world where people believe that Guzman is that far superior to Lopez at short. I hope this evolves over the season.

It's frightening when a relief pitcher's WHIP is over 2.

Exhibit A: Mech with a leadoff double.  >:(

Ray King in the game.. and immediately gives up a double.  Why is this piece of **** on this team again?  He gets shelled every game he pitches in.

Unfortunately, we can't pitch hit around all of the bad hitters in this lineup!

Pat Corralles has been dead-wrong tonight on defensive positioning. Unusual, and unfortunate.

Here comes Winston Abreu. Bob talks like he is a god-like pitcher, we'll see if he lives up to the hype..

Ray King is a situational lefty. Once they make a PH sub, the equation changes. And Ray King should never face a righty with two outs and no one on unless he plans to pitch around. Manny and Schneider are still learning to use him effectively.

He's the antithesis of Bowie who actually pitches great against righties but sucks against lefties.

The baseball Gods have a cruel sense of humor.  They give Gross a webgem on a ball that should have been over his head, then give us a run on a ball that should have been an easy 3rd out.  And of course we didn't do anything with the extra out.  They're just teasing us by letting it become a 1-run game.  Don't take the bait guys, the BBGs are just messing with our heads.

This is a lab experiment. I am glad he has done well in minors as a closer, but that means little to me here.
