Same old JZ/Davey. JZ craps the bed every outing in the 6th-7th and Davey always leaves him in a batter or two two long.

Why wasn't Clippard brought in after the walk?1

and if clippard gives up a homer, you ask why isn't JZ still in the game.

Does JZ ever get tired of giving up GW HRs every freakign outing? And doesn't Davey get sick of watching it? That has  happened on several occasions this year.

The HR to Vlad, the HR to Pena, the HR tonight, etc

Good pitching by Zimmermann today. Offense needs to do something.

Best reliever in baseball, why not use him?

JZ was left in too long. Matter of fact, he shouldn't have started the inning. If Ramos didn't GIDP, JZ would have been PH for. :?

Guy throws 6 shutout innings and happens to have some bad luck.

News flash, being required to allow less than 2 runs a game to win is freaking awful.

Why no double switch?  Now, either Clippard leads off next inning or he only pitches this one inning

Total crapfest of a game. Can't believe it. All of JZ's starts end the same. He pitches well for 5 or 6 innings and then gives up a dagger HR after showing signs of wear. Davey never pulls him for some reason. I thought we were keeping a short leash on JZim and yet Davey leaves him out there to piss another game away.

yup.  he gives up 2 runs in 6.1 IP, this one is on the offense.  hell it's a quality start no matter what.

1 of those runs should be credited to the umpire.

It's not JZ's fault the offense sucks but why must he always piss his pants at the end of his outings? Or is Davey just pushing him too hard/not looking out for the team's best interest?

Maybe he wanted JZ to get the win and left him in there to finish up the inning. :?

Why even waste Clippard in this game at this point. Too freaking late, Davey. Clippard was warmed up and Davey refused to use him

Oh okay.  So if you know this how is it the team's trainer's don't know this??

Team announced a strained achilles back when Riggleman was managing. The trainers? Well, I remember why Sonny did not play in SB 7, and what happened to Jon Jansen. Ask the trainers, or assume that the organization thinks that Nix with a bad leg is better than Bernadina. Would not be my choice, though.

I'd like to know what the hell Mcatty and JZ talked about with Kennedy on deck. Seemed like someone out on that mound should have seen that JZ was done.
